I have made a virtual device, I call it the VirtDakota20, which has performered properly up to a couple of weeks ago.
But last weeks -after haven't used it for a couple of weeks - Basecamp doesn't recognise this device anymore. Independent from in which order I do it: first mounting the im-file (using ImDisk) secondly starting Basecamp or first starting Basecamp and then mounting the im-file.
After mounting I see the virtual device properly under Windows (7) as a new disk H: including the map \Garmin and its maps.
What can be the cause of this?!
André

Basecamp doesn't recognise virtual GPS device
If you check with the JaVaWa Device Manager, are there errors?
If not, then it's time to reset BaseCamp cache first by using the free JaVaWa GTMK program and otherwise a reset of BaseCamp settings using the reset to default in the BaseCamp settings (make database backup in front).

Dear Marco
I did check with JaVaWa Device Manager--> no errors. My virtual Dakota20 still can be seen, including 4 maps.
Resetting the BaseCamp cache using GTMK gives the mysterious error:
"Er is een fout opgetreden: NilObject Exception in module ModMain.GetPath". After that, the problem still exists.
Resetting BaseCamp (reset to default) also doesn't solve the problem.
Any idea?!
